Mumbai Jan Seva — Civic Complaint Management Portal
A full-stack portal concept for submitting and tracking civic complaints, with map pin-drop, ward-based routing, and an administration view.
Context
The project explored how a citizen complaint could move from submission to a trackable resolution workflow, including a location on a map and routing by ward.
What I worked on
- Built a portal flow for complaint submission, location pin-drop, and status tracking.
- Worked on the backend API and SQLite data model.
- Added an administration dashboard concept for reporting and complaint tracking.
- Used Leaflet.js with OpenStreetMap in the map interface.
Implementation notes
The public repository describes a Flask application using SQLite, server-rendered pages, and Leaflet.js for map interactions. The resume describes responsibility for backend API design, the database schema, and deployment scheduling.
